Yes — both scrunchies come included with every order. Sold separately they'd be $14. We bundle them because they make the curls hold better and the experience nicer.
Damp — not soaking, not dry. Towel-dried and lightly air-dried is the sweet spot. Too wet means hair doesn't fully dry overnight; too dry means the curl won't set. A spray bottle helps if you're between washes.
A small amount of leave-in cream, mousse, or hair oil helps the curl hold longer. Avoid anything stiffening like gel before wrapping — it leaves crunch.
Center the rod on top of your head, then wrap each section of hair outward and away from your face. The wrap card and video show exactly. Wrong direction = curls that pull away from your face weird.
Make sure the scrunchies are snug at each end. If you toss in your sleep, an additional silk bonnet over everything keeps it locked in.
Yes — but use a touch more leave-in product and consider a light hairspray after unwrapping. Stick-straight hair holds curl for about a day; product extends it to two.
Yes — it tames frizz and gives a uniform, defined wave pattern. Many type 2 and 3 customers use it instead of plopping for their wash days.
1–2 days for most hair types. Refresh by spritzing dry shampoo on roots and scrunching with light hairspray. A silk pillowcase or bonnet on night 2 extends it.
Loose, bouncy, "old Hollywood" waves. Not tight ringlets — for that, you'd need a smaller rod and a curling-rod method. Think hair-flip glam.
