Dreamcurls started with a flight to Italy, lost luggage, and a curling iron that wouldn't have worked on European voltage anyway.
Our founder — let's call her Eve, because that's her name — landed in Florence with frizz, dead-tired, and no styling tools. A friend handed her a soft pink rod and said "trust me." She woke up the next morning with the best hair of her life. She bought four more before flying home and gave them away to everyone she knew that month.
Hair is not a battle. Most of us were taught it was — heat tools, daily blowouts, $40 dry shampoo, 11 products. But the women whose hair always looks effortless usually do less, not more. We built Dreamcurls around the principle that your best hair shouldn't require your worst sleep.
The viral version on TikTok was a robe-tie people had hacked into a curl tool. It mostly worked, but it slipped, dug into your neck, and looked weird. We took the idea to a textile engineer who'd designed sleep products for two major DTC brands, and built it properly: medical-grade foam core, real satin wrap (not poly), a length that fits every head, and a soft anchor that doesn't dig.
We tested 9 prototypes across 60 sleepers with hair types 1A through 4C. The version we shipped is the version they all asked to keep.
56,000+ customers across the US, UK, and EU. A 4.9-star average across 19,000+ verified reviews. Quietly used by bridal stylists, flight attendants, and people who don't post on social. Recommended by trichologists who don't want their clients heat-styling daily.
If you're tired of choosing between sleep and hair — welcome.
